Are you a strategic communications leader with a passion for enhancing employee experience through effective HR messaging? We are looking for an innovative and results-driven Communications Senior Director for People and Culture to join our Global Internal Communications team. This person will be based in Austin, TX. This pivotal role will report directly to the Vice President of Global Communications and will function as a key collaborator with HR leadership and subject matter experts.
You will develop and implement our internal communications strategy, specifically tailored to people and culture initiatives. This role includes managing and executing the executive internal communications strategy for the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and the HR leadership team. Additionally, you will build impactful campaigns and oversee the strategic operations of our HR Portal, which is a vital platform for communicating both global and local HR information.
What a typical day looks like:
Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with HR leadership to translate the people strategy into compelling communication initiatives that drive employee understanding and engagement.Goal Setting and Results Delivery: Establish clear goals and objectives in partnership with stakeholders, ensuring timely and quality communication delivery while adapting strategies as needed.Audience Segmentation and Messaging: Strategically position communications for maximum impact by identifying key audience segments, timing messages effectively, and crafting engaging content.Diverse Communication Formats: Engage employees through various communication mediums, including memos, presentations, infographics, webinars, and intranet content that resonate with and inspire our workforce.Storytelling and Integration: Work closely with the communications team to enhance storytelling, thought leadership, and ensure cohesive messaging throughout all platforms.HR Portal Oversight: Manage the HR Portal, ensuring it remains updated, well-maintained, and aligned with our strategic direction.Content Creation and Analysis: Plan, write, edit, publish, and analyze various communications, fostering relationships with key stakeholders to influence and enhance engagement efforts.The experience we are looking to add to our team:
10+ years of proven experience in a communications leadership role, preferably within HR or people-focused initiatives.Exceptional writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail and quality.Strong collaborator and influencer with the ability to build relationships across diverse teams and levels.Experience in strategically managing multiple programs within a fast-paced, matrixed environment.Ability to translate complex concepts into accessible communications.On-site presence is essential for effective collaboration and relationship-building.What you'll receive for the great work you provide:
