Waterblast - Operator

Must read, write, and comprehend verbal and activity instructions.

Must acquire knowledge for acceptable/non acceptable requirements for castings by being able to interpret and understand visual specifications. 

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

Continuous Improvement

Ability to stand for long periods of time

Follows all Environmental, Health and Safety policies and procedures

Follows all Quality policies and procedures as stated in the Quality Management System

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Starting Wage: $20 per hour

This position is to fill a current vacancy.

Performs various machine operations in running water blaster.

Is responsible for cleaning parts by using abrasives or water blaster.

Is responsible for minor maintenance and up-keep of the machinery.

Is responsible for keeping the machine and the surrounding area clean.

Uses safety precautions when using blasters.

Assists with general housekeeping of the area.

Is responsible for separations and visual inspections of required finished parts.

Willing to be Cross trained in a variety of areas throughout the facility.
