We are looking for a driven and curious Water/Wastewater Mechanical and Hydraulic Modeling Engineer in Colorado.
As part of our team, you will work with a core group of engineers and designers on some of the most complex water and wastewater treatment projects in the country. You will focus on hydraulic modeling of both water and wastewater systems, for both water and air, but also support design delivery as a process mechanical engineer for our design and planning projects. Our team in Colorado works on local projects and exciting projects around the country, so you will have the opportunity to get experience on exciting projects of all sizes in different locations. You will be expected to become an expert in various software platforms that are both external platforms and software developed in-house at Jacobs.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical preferred)
• A robust understanding of water and air hydraulics and familiarity with hydraulic modeling software, both static and dynamic
• A minimum of 5 years of process engineering and project delivery experience with water and/or wastewater treatment and design delivery
• Related task and/or project management experience, including demonstrated ability to successfully manage and deliver tasks and projects
• Familiarity with data analytics methods, tools, and applications
Ideally, you’ll also have:
• Master’s or other graduate degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical preferred)
• 10 or more years of process engineering and project delivery experience with water and/or wastewater treatment and design delivery
