Join us. **Job Description** AECOM Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a Water / Wastewater Engineering in Coral Gables, FL. **Job Details:** + Complete model development and analysis, including building sewer hydraulic models using engineering principles and wastewater network modeling tools + Integrate GIS data, flow monitoring data, and hydraulic parameters to develop accurate wastewater network representations + Conduct advanced calibration and validation methodologies, including sensitivity analysis, to ensure model reliability and precision + Perform in-depth scenario analyses to assess wastewater system resilience against extreme weather events, population growth, infrastructure vulnerabilities, and regulatory changes + Perform risk assessments to evaluate potential hazards and recommend mitigation strategies + Work under the supervision of project managers and collaborate with engineers, environmental specialists, and other stakeholders + Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations through data interpretation and comparative analysis + Incorporate climate change projections into wastewater models to assess long-term impacts and support adaptive design solutions + Lead and train team members on advanced hydraulic modeling services and planning methodologies + Conduct training sessions on modeling tools, sewershed delineation, and dry- and wet-weather flow estimation + Conduct field investigations under varying environmental conditions to collect and validate data for modeling purposes + Up to 20% domestic travel required + Telecommuting permitted 2–3 days per week + Full-time position **Qualifications** + Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Water Resources Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field of study and 6 years of experience as Wastewater Engineer, Civil Engineer, Hydraulic Engineer, or related occupation. + Alternatively, the employer will accept a Master's degree in Water Resources Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field of study, and 4 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Position requires experience in the following: 1. Autodesk InfoWorks ICM; 2. InfoAsset Manager; 3. SewerGems; 4. XPSWMM; 5. InfoWater; 6. ArcGIS; 7. MapInfo; 8. Data collection of hydraulic parameter analysis, model calibration, and risk assessment; 9. Hydraulic model build; 10. Ancillary modeling; 11. Alternate scenario analysis; 12.
