Job Description:

What You'll Be Doing:

Perform a variety of engineering tasks, including preparing drawings, specifications, and materials suitable for procurement and construction purposes, utilizing CAE/CAD tools as applicable.

Complete standard engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates, surveys, and designs for infrastructure projects.

Prepare detailed requisitions for equipment and materials and assist in technical bid analyses for supplier submissions.

Review supplier drawing submittals and provide technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and lower-level Engineers working on the same project.

Prepare and issue specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents, ensuring compliance with project requirements.

Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including suppliers and clients, to ensure project success.

Willingness to travel or relocate to supplier, client, or construction site locations as needed.

Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related field) and typically 0-3 years of related work experience.

Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certificate or eligibility to obtain it may be required.

Proficiency in CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering tasks.

Strong technical knowledge and ability to apply engineering theories and practices to complex infrastructure projects.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
