Assist project engineers and senior engineers in water resources projects. Examples include: watershed assessments, water supply long-term planning, and floodplain analysis, high-level water resources studies.Field and desktop data collection.Hydrologic analysis and model development.One- and two-dimensional hydraulic analysis and model development.Prepare engineering design calculations.Environmental permitting support.
Technical report development.Development of visual aids for client and stakeholder presentations.Perform other duties as neededPreferred QualificationsEngineer in Training (EIT) certificateCandidates without their EIT will be placed into a Design Coordinator job code and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progressionBasic knowledge of industry standard software, including: Microsoft Office Suite, standard CAD platforms, ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, and HEC-HMS.Strong writing and verbal communication skills. Ability to work on multiple assignments successfully.Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or other related field.
