Join a leading company in the water management industry as a Maintenance Technician (Water Operations) in Midland, TX, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of water supply and recycling systems.
Role Overview
Operate supply and recycling equipment in coordination with various teams. Perform routine maintenance tasks to maximize reliability and runtime of infrastructure. Conduct preventative maintenance and assist with major repairs as needed. Collect samples of supply, effluent, produced, recycled, and effluent water. Manage Above Ground Storage Tanks (AST’s), pipelines, and processing equipment. Support Control Room operations with manual tasks. Monitor pipelines and hoses associated with influent and effluent streams. Maintain equipment according to approved schedules and fulfill work orders. Perform routine housekeeping to maintain a safe work environment. Diagnose problems and perform minor/major repairs as necessary. Complete required paperwork and maintain accurate logs.Skills & Qualifications
Operator Background: Experience in water operations or maintenance. Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with pumps, compressors, engines, motors, valves, strainers, filters, piping, electric panels, and water quality testers. Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing. Basic Math Skills: Ability to understand and apply basic mathematical concepts. Computer Proficiency: Basic to intermediate skills in MS Office suite, Oracle, SAP, and Excel. Safety Awareness: Knowledge of HSE policies and proper use of PPE.Education & Experience
High School education or equivalent required. 1.5 years of experience as a Water Ops/Maintenance Technician or Produced Water Technician preferred. Valid operator's license with a clean driving record.Pay & Benefits
