Your Opportunity Our Water group is seeking a Co-op Student to join our team in the Ottawa, ON office for a 4-month term starting January 2026. Your Key Responsibilities Assisting the engineers and designers in a variety of field and office assignments that include research, writing reports, conceptual, preliminary and detailed designs of municipal infrastructure, pumping stations, water/wastewater treatment plants, sewers, watermains, roads, surveying, field inspections, data processing, modeling etc. Your Capabilities and Credentials Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and take direction Knowledge of provincial and federal regulations, policies, and programs, are a plus Education and Experience In progress toward earning a Bachelor's degree (minimum) in civil, water resources or environmental engineering or related field. Specific coursework or exposure to one or more of the following: Planning, design, construction of water/wastewater infrastructure, and construction management, Environmental water/wastewater treatment processes, Advanced and emerging technologies. Typical office environment working with computers and working at a desk for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
