Water and Wastewater Construction Project Manager Objective
Lead and direct field construction operations for large-scale industrial developments, with primary emphasis on Industrial Water and Wastewater Treatment facilities, while also managing projects across manufacturing plants, production centers, and data center installations. Drive successful project delivery by coordinating all on-site engineering functions and ensuring seamless execution from inception to completion.
Responsibilities Deliver projects on schedule and within established budget constraints while maintaining quality standards Lead and mentor project engineering staff, site superintendents, and field supervisors through strategic guidance and performance evaluation Coordinate project engineering operations including resource planning, administrative oversight, and task delegation Maintain adherence to organizational policies and contractual obligations while supporting master construction timelines using Primavera P6 Deliver engineering expertise encompassing construction strategy, blueprint analysis, and dispute mediation Create and implement project engineering protocols and control documentation (submissions, requests for information, material coordination, payment processing) Serve as company liaison during architect/engineer meetings, client conferences, and project management sessions Collaborate with field departments to address challenges and maintain construction standards Direct pre-construction planning, design-build operations, and business development initiatives Partner with site superintendents to monitor project expenses and production financial plans Generate and submit monthly financial reports including cost analysis, revenue tracking, and cash flow forecasts Process and authorize subcontractor payments and supplier invoices Support resolution of contract modifications and dispute settlements Address urgent matters promptly, implement proactive solutions, and manage concurrent assignments Monitor subcontractor insurance documentation and compliance requirements RequirementsEducation & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or comparable technical education and practical experience Minimum 10 years of comprehensive experience spanning construction operations, design processes, financial management, and team leadership At least 5 years of specialized construction engineering experience in heavy industrial sector projects Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not mandatoryCore Competencies:
