**Minimum Qualifications:**
• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• Professional Engineering (PE) license
• 7 years of related experience
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required
• The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree

• Experience using computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) tools, including 3D and 4D software, to bring engineering concepts to life
• Familiarity with core engineering design principles and how they apply to real-world infrastructure challenges
• Comfort working with Microsoft business tools like Excel and Word to support project documentation and collaboration
• Strong verbal and written communication skills that help you connect with teams, clients, and stakeholders
• Understanding of federal, state, and local regulations to help ensure projects meet compliance standards

What You’ll Bring to the Team:
• Apply your knowledge of computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) tools—including 3D and 4D software—to develop and refine engineering solutions that drive project success
• Use your understanding of engineering design principles to contribute to the planning and execution of water and wastewater infrastructure projects
• Leverage Microsoft business tools like Excel and Word to manage data, create reports, and communicate effectively across teams
• Communicate clearly and confidently—both verbally and in writing—to collaborate with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders
• Navigate and apply federal, state, and local regulations to ensure compliance and support responsible project delivery
**Background Check and Drug Testing Information:**

**Additional Compensation:**
All bonuses at CDM Smith are discretionary and may or may not apply to this position.
