This person will be responsible for supporting the operation and maintenance of the companys decentralized wastewater treatment systems. This position involves traveling to various DWTU (Decentralized Wastewater Treatment Unit) stations, collecting process and compliance samples, performing basic maintenance and repairs, and ensuring data is properly documented and communicated. The day-to-day includes:
Drive to various DWTU stations and other assigned locations to collect process control and compliance samples.
Perform process control analysis and document results in electronic format.
Perform routine maintenance tasks and repairs as directed by the Operation Supervisor.
Monitor and record operational data such as flow, levels, and equipment status.
Respond to alarms, troubleshoot basic issues, and escalate more complex problems.
Communicate effectively with the operations team, sending daily reports and responding to requests via email.
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and environmental regulations.
Perform equipment inspections and operational checks.
Collect and maintain accurate records of fieldwork, including photos, data logs, and compliance forms.
On-call, weekends and after-hours responsibilities as needed for urgent system alarms or repairs.
Maintain an accurate logbook in electronic format.
