Job Title: Wastewater DAF and Centrifuge Operator
Location:  Omaha
Reporting To: Rendering Superintendent

Essential Job Functions:

Operate the wastewater Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) system and skimmersPerform equipment shutdowns and clean‑in‑place (CIP) procedures for Centrisys, melt tank, and other related equipmentGrease Centrisys, paunch press, and bearings according to the established scheduleClean DAF areas, including dry pickup, foam removal, and rinsingRestart the system and operate until first shift arrivesCoordinate with first shift, complete required paperwork, and submit documentationOperate powered industrial trucks, including forklifts and skid loadersPerform lockout/tagout procedures on equipment as requiredPerform other duties as assigned by upper management

 

Experience Required:

Prior wastewater experience preferred, but not requiredHigh school diploma or GED equivalent preferred, but not required

 

Skills/Abilities Required:

Establish and maintain effective working relationships and work collaborativelyAbility to work in conditions of extreme heat and in wet, steamy environmentsUnderstand and operate touchscreen‑controlled equipmentFollow standard operating procedures (SOPs)Ability to work flexible hours, including some SaturdaysGood verbal and written communication skillsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to work with chemicals safelyAbility to multitaskStrong attention to detail
