Summary: Seeking a Wastewater Treatment Operator to manage and maintain water treatment equipment, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent Ability to read, write, and communicate in English Current Massachusetts industrial wastewater treatment license Grade 3 or higher 2 years of experience in a related wastewater treatment position

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of local and national wastewater regulations and ordinances

Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain reverse osmosis water treatment equipment Maintain and calibrate pH and conductivity instruments Perform mechanical maintenance, plumbing repairs, troubleshooting, and light electrical maintenance Manage shipping of hazardous and non-hazardous wastes Plan and perform scheduled preventive maintenance for all equipment Respond effectively to equipment failures to minimize downtime Analyze wastewater effluent for compliance documentation

Pay Details: $20.00 to $35.00 per hour
