JOB PURPOSE AND IMPACT

The Wastewater Technician will be responsible for wastewater treatment plant operations and environmental compliance. In this role, you will apply analytical analysis and mechanical aptitude to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and ensure that wastewater is processed efficiently and effectively.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Runs wastewater treatment plant to ensure stable plant operations.Handles daily testing and analysis.Review and improve processes to manage administrative tasks.Enters environmental data into pre existing systems.Promote the company's safety culture.Handle complex clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

MINIMUM

High school diploma, secondary education level or equivalentMinimum of four years of related work experienceAvailability to work weekends and holidaysMS Office experience

PREFERRED

Associates degree or higher in science, technology, engineering or mathMinimum of one year of industrial or two years of wastewater treatment experience
