Warranty Supervisor

Your Key Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Warranty Supervisor to join our team for a 6-month fixed-term contract. You will play a vital part in leading our Warranty Department, providing supervisory support, managing warranty evaluations, and ensuring efficient process flow for customer returns.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage all staff within the Warranty Team Act as primary point of contact for delivery services and communicate requirements clearly to couriers, provide feedback, and ensure timely delivery of goods. Ensure strict adherence to Health & Safety standards, including implementing lone working measures where applicable. Carry out technical assessment and evaluation of components returned under warranty or customer complaint. Compile and prepare inspection reports for warranty rejections. Administer warranty claim records as needed Input and interpret data using analysis software for warranty returns. Collaborate with the Goods Inwards Department to address quality issues and concerns. Assist Technical Support colleagues with product and fault identification. Reject components that do not meet company safety or quality standards. Maintain housekeeping and organisation of the work area to company standards. Participate in Quality Circle meetings and engage in continuous improvement initiatives with senior management to address repeat warranty returns. Contribute to training and mentoring of new and existing team members. Your Qualifications Experience supervising, mentoring, and directing staff, with the ability to work hands-on within the team. Relevant education in a mechanical, engineering, or technical automotive discipline (desirable). Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP systems. Prior experience working with Schaeffler automotive products advantageous. Practical experience with tool room equipment, including Linishing machines, Pillar Drills, Lathes, and a range of hand tools. Solid technical understanding and experience in automotive, mechanical, or engineering roles. Excellent written and verbal
