The Warranty Parts Return Specialist ensures positive and fair dealer relations by managing the approval process for dealership chargebacks of Powertrain warranty part returns.

Ensure positive and fair dealer relations by managing the approval process for dealership chargebacks of Powertrain warranty part returns Manage the process of approving Dealer Chargeback Requests from Engine & Transmission plant part reviews Define and provide governance of the criteria for dealer chargebacks Review, provide feedback and sign off on Global Technical Testing Instructions (GTTI) for Powertrain-related warranty parts analysis Lead calibration meetings with the GTTI authors, part inspectors, and Warranty Commodity Engineers to ensure compliance of chargeback approval conditions Liaison with Cost Per Repair team for updates to dealer diagnostics/or service procedures Review dealer appeals to chargebacks and clearly communicate decision to dealer in order to reduce future chargebacks Assist Field/Ford Teams on Warranty Part Return questions and appeals Maintain metrics on Powertrain parts return tags and chargebacks; Investigate any related anomalies. Provide management with regular metrics Work with WPAC Helpline Team and Warranty Assistance Team (WAT) on any warranty part return issues Support Warranty Assessing team in reviewing and processing Engineering/Plant Vehicle Teams (PVT) Warranty Chargeback requests Support claims assessing team by manually assessing warranty claims within warranty & policy guidelines Reinforce warranty administration guiding principles in all business processes Process/handle special requests from Warranty management, as needed
