Responsibilities: + Directly supervise the Warranty Administrators. + Assist the Warranty team with processing all warranty claims by next business day following RO close date. + Review charge backs and short pay claims with Warranty Supervisor and Service Manager prior to write-offs. + Establish and manage compliance with set procedures and guidelines to ensure that the payments are timely and comply with all applicable manufacturer policies. + Perform Warranty audits. + Monitor, analyze, and report monthly manufacturer warranty trends; cost per repair reports to avoid future manufacturer audits for the company. + Manage, develop, and improve the warranty system, installation, development, and maintenance. + Manage and initiate dealer and internal systems training. + Directly responsible for hiring, performance management, coaching, and distribution and work review of Warranty staff. Qualifications: + Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency. + Excellent communication skills both written and oral + Prior experience in a Service Department (preferably in a lead or management position) strongly desired. + Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
