We’re hiring a Warranty Manager at our Corporate Headquarters in Columbia, MO and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction.
The Warranty Manager is responsible for all aspects of warranty submittal administration. All vendor warranty management and policies and procedures will be developed and kept up to date by the manager.
Primary Responsibilities
+ Develop and update warranty policies and procedures on an ongoing basis to stay in line with vendor policies
+ Attend all warranty related training supplied by vendors on an ongoing basis
+ Communicate with Service Managers, Parts Managers and supporting staff on updates and any policy changes that occur
+ Work in conjunction with Operations and Service Support to ensure that Internally Assigned Key Principle indicators are met regarding warranty
+ Provide constructive feedback and solutions to Service/Parts Manager’s when claim submittals are rejected or reduced for future claim submittal
+ Assist in failure analysis and provide feedback to Service Managers / Corporate Service Team prior to claim submission to avoid warranty rejections due to misdiagnosis or abuse
+ Manage all EquipmentShare warranty submittals and hold meetings with the OEMS, Service Managers and Part Managers to maximize recovery efforts
+ Ensure all timelines are met regarding vendor submittal policies
+ Understand all vendors warranty policies and statements and related timelines
+ Process all warranty related credits for submittal to accounting
+ Visualize team progress, find difficulty points and resolve difficulties with team members

Skills & Qualifications
+ Administration (Warranty) background mandatory including being proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
+ A strong understanding of technical schematics and equipment components as they relate to warrantability
+ A strong understanding of equipment operation, maintenance, and repair
+ Strong communication skills
+ Strong attention to detail
+ The ability to understand and navigate T3 and other ES developed applications
+ The ability to prioritize and manage several projects simultaneously
Education and Experience
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ Minimum 6-8 years experience - dealer experience is a plus
