Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Supervisor to support both Warehouse and Transcon operations. This role is focused on ensuring the accurate and timely processing of freight, maintaining inventory integrity, and supporting cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, organized, and committed to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the inbound and outbound freight flow, ensuring timely and accurate processing.Maintain stock control and perform daily inventory checks.Receive drivers, register shipments, and lead the loading/unloading process.Generate and manage OSD (Over, Short, and Damaged) reports in the company system.Perform accurate and timely data entry for freight allocation, shipping, and inventory management.Prepare and verify documentation for customer work orders, including special requests.Maintain damage records and backorder logs.Ensure warehouse staff have the necessary documents and information to complete tasks.Maintain strong relationships with vendors, including trucking companies.Ensure compliance with internal policies (OPS) and external regulations.Participate in internal meetings with gateways and customer service departments.Communicate effectively with internal departments via phone and email.Train new hires and existing staff on daily tasks and global processes.Support the implementation of system changes and enhancements.Provide support in workload allocation during peak periods or staff absences.Promote awareness and understanding of policies and regulations across the team.

 

QualificationsMinimum of 4 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or transportation operations.Solid understanding of inventory management, accounting principles, or related fields.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (formulas, Pivot Tables).Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.Commitment to compliance, safety, and continuous improvement.
