Position will be in one of the functional areas of the warehouse including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping. **A Day in the Life:** + Receiving, examining, sorting, arranging, counting, storing, picking, and packing items for storage or ship in accordance with established SOP procedures and customer requirements. + Uses powered industrial truck to various locations throughout the facility to locate materials and fulfill orders. + Prepares accurate documentation requirements for packing and shipping of hazardous chemicals. + Verifies accurate storage conditions of products and notifies Supervisor of any inventory issues that may arise such as Can’t Find, Expired Product, Breakage, and Out-Of-Stocks. + Schedule order pick-ups and complete shipping through our local WMS system + Other duties as assigned **Education:** High school diploma or equivalent required. **Experience:** + Required: Minimum of 1 year of work experience in distribution, warehouse or supply chain or related field + Preferred: Experience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers) **Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:** + Self-motivated, quality-conscious individual + Ability to remain detail oriented in fast paced environment + Active teammate with strong work ethic **Physical Requirements / Work Environment** Regularly required to stand Lift, carry, pull, and push between 40-70 pounds frequently and 100 pounds occasionally, with or without assistance Specific PPE required; including gloves, safety glasses steel-toed shoes, etc. **What We Offer** **Compensation** + Competitive Hourly Pay Rate + Static Monday to Friday work week + Annual performance-based bonus + Annual merit performance-based increase Thermo Fisher Scientific is an EEO/Affirmative Action Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, disability or any other legally protected status.
