Job Title: Material Handler
Job Description
We are seeking dedicated Material Handlers to support our shipping and production operations. This role involves supplying production areas with necessary materials, utilizing a hand cart, and lifting and moving parts around the warehouse and production areas to ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities
Load and unload trucks, operate a standard forklift, and utilize related equipment and tools to move materials throughout the plant.Unload incoming materials from trailers using a forklift or other equipment, check quantities and item descriptions against purchase orders, and enter orders into the computer system.Organize and stock raw materials in the work area, maintain departmental housekeeping standards, and ensure the work environment and equipment are clean at the end of the shift.Perform all duties according to established safety and efficiency procedures and maintain a neat, clean, and orderly workstation.Conduct daily checks for maintenance and safe operation of the forklift.Essential Skills
1+ years of warehouse experience.Ability to drive a forklift, with forklift certification preferred.Ability to comprehend and follow work instructions, loading schedules, and production tickets.Effective communication skills to interact with coworkers and management in a fast-paced team environment.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous forklift experience is preferred.Manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.Experience with general labor, hand tools, assembling, general production, machine operation, packaging, mechanical assembly, and material handling.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Our facility operates in an air-conditioned environment with shifts from 5 am to 5 pm, requiring availability for 12-hour shifts or as needed based on volume. Training for the first shift occurs from 8 am to 5 pm. Associates should be prepared to work 6-day weeks, up to 12 hours per day, and be flexible to work most Saturdays during high season. The work involves physical demands typical of a manufacturing environment, including standing, bending, and lifting. Personal Protective Equipment is provided and required to ensure safety in a clean and safe work area with exposure to high noise levels and various materials.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
