Description:

Assists the Warehouse team in the Warehouse operation, including but not limited to: receiving, shipping, GMP requirements, and filling in at other positions where needed. Assists in assuring the efficient and correct order fulfillment and loading of route trucks, boxed beef orders, and will-call orders; fills in, as required, in any of the following job functions: receiving, loading , unloading, stretch wrapping, product put away, order selecting , scanning, palletizing, invoicing, labeling, warehouse clean up, freezer work, reboxing product Works with QA and accounting to assure all returns are processed properly and proper credits have been issued Assists in assuring any and all special product requirements have been met; assures all powered equipment inspection forms are completed daily and notifies management of potential safety issues Assists in investigating inventory discrepancies; assures that all safety and GMP rules are adhered to; conducts item to item transfers as required; performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

6 months recent experience working in a distribution center or warehouse a plus Able to work in a cold-refrigerated environment  Able to work 8, 10 or 12 hours shifts Able to carry, twist, push, pull products and lift up to 50 lbs Able to stand, walk and bend for the entire shift Experience working with technology – RF scanners, warehouse computers a plus Able to follow written and verbal work instructions Able to count accurately
