The Role
We are seeking a reliable and proactive Warehouse Team Leader to oversee daily warehouse operations at our Newington site. This hands-on role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and solid organisations skills to manage inventory, coordinate with internal teams, and ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
ERP System Operations
Receive incoming goods, process invoices, dispatch deliveries.
Order consumables and maintain stock levels.
Ensure accurate data entry and inventory tracking.
Stock Management
Perform regular and ad-hoc stock takes.
Oversee stock picking and cable cutting activities.
Maintain organised and efficient warehouse layout.
Team Leadership
Supervise and support one warehouse operator.
Delegate tasks and monitor performance
Foster a safe, productive, and positive work environment.
Logistics Coordination
Organise customer pick-ups and outbound deliveries.
Liaise with the production team to align job status and inventory needs.
Compliance & Safety
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company procedures.
Operate forklift safely and maintain license compliance.
Skills & Qualifications
Forklift license (required)
Experience using ERP systems (computer literate)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Logical problem-solving ability
Proven leadership and priority management skills
Ability to work autonomously and reliably.
Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred.
