In September of 2017, Bob Evans Farms was acquired by Post Holdings, Inc. and is part of the Refrigerated Retail division. Other divisions of Post include Post Consumer Brands (Cereal), Weetabix (Cereal – UK), Michael Foods (Foodservice), and 8th Avenue Food & Provisions (Private Label). Post has aggressive growth plans for BEF, highlighted by the recent deployment of capital to support innovation, marketing and manufacturing. **Responsibilities** **Rigby, Idaho - Night Shift 6pm - 6am** **Position Overview:** This position is responsible for working with and overseeing Warehouse employees as they complete their daily activities. It is responsible for ensuring from start to finish the proper loading and unloading of trucks and completion of accurate and timely paperwork. This position will work with Operations to ensure they receive the products and materials needed to keep the production lines running. **Accountabilities:** 1. Safety 1 st . Follow all workplace safety rules. 2. Work with Supervisor on daily work assignments for team. 3. Ensures team members have been trained and are using equipment safely. Coach team as needed. 4. Drive stand-up/sit-down forklift/walkie truck. 5. Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas. 6. Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code. 7. Sorts and stores perishable goods in refrigerated rooms. 8. Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line. 9. Marks materials with identifying information. 10. Opens bales, crates, and other containers. 11. Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed. 12. Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards. 13. Uses computer to enter records. Knowledge in warehouse management systems. 14. Completes requisition forms to order supplies from other plant departments. 15. Operate pallet-wrapping equipment. 16. Move Semi Trailers as needed with yard tractor. 17. Operate cardboard compactor/ Trash compactor. 18. Maintains inventory records. 19. Ensures product quality by verifying expiration dates and proper materials; insures product is free of contamination. 20. Other duties as assigned. **Qualifications** **Experience and Education:** + High School diploma or GED + Some basic computer skills (MS Office, Word, Power Point and Excel) + Warehouse management system such as Oracle or similar. Experience: + Prior experience in a manufacturing/processing facility is a plus. + 1 year of previous forklift experience is required. **Candidate Profile** : **The ideal candidate will act** each day as a positive example of the company values.
