YOUR ROLE
Ensures the proper functioning of warehouse operations, material receipt, shipment control, and scrap management and control, ensuring compliance with procedures, resource optimization, and inventory accuracy.
In your daily job you will:
a. Warehouse and Receiving: Oversee the receipt, unloading, verification, and recording of materials.
b. Ensure that materials are stored under appropriate conditions and following FIFO/FEFO.
c. Maintain up-to-date inventory control (inputs, outputs, and transfers).
d. Validate supplier and carrier documentation during the receiving process, considering safety rules.
e. Shipping: Coordinate the preparation, assortment, packaging, and shipping of finished products.
f. Ensure that shipment deliveries are timely and correctly processed.
g. Verify outgoing documentation (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading).
h. Follow up with carriers and monitor shipments until delivery.
i. Scrap: Control, classify, and safeguard scrap material according to internal policies.
j. Coordinate the proper disposal of material and maintain accurate scrap records for internal and external audits.
k. Management and Continuous Improvement
l. Manage staff (roles, incidents, training, and performance)
m. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and 5S standards in the area.
n. Participate in cyclical and general inventories, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
o. Ensure compliance with KPIs (inventory accuracy, on-time delivery of raw materials, internal customer service, and compliance with safety standards).
YOUR BACKGROUND
Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:
a. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, or similar
b. At least 5 years of experience in the position
c. Intermediate-advanced English
d. Knowledge of production plans
e. Intermediate-advanced Excel skills
f. Intermediate-advanced SAP proficiency
g. Knowledge of data management as required by clients
h. Strategic thinking, decision-making, effective communication
i. Problem-solving and negotiation skills
j. Logistics processes, inventory control, and supply chain
k. Safety and environmental standards
l. Personnel management and leadership
