Main responsibilities:

Supervise warehouse shipping and receiving activities and personnel to ensure that all functions are performed within Company, Department and Distribution Center guidelines as outlined in Distribution Center Policies and Procedures Manual and Contract.

Controls, plans, manages and coordinates the daily activities for the Warehouse for a particular shipping operation. Utilizes effective planning to forecast volume, staffing, and supply needs in order to meet projected productivity and expense budgets. Supervises warehouse activities to ensure that outgoing products are handled properly using proper training, accuracy systems and programs. Monitors production standards as well as meet projections for labor expenses Coordinates functions between shifts to effectively complete the workload, while providing excellent customer service to the stores Walks all areas of the warehouse to ensure building conditions are maintained and comply with Company standards, associates are working safely, potential safety hazards are identified and addressed, and potential damage is identified and corrected. Plans and assigns work for most efficient use of personnel and equipment. Develops and maintains good working relationship with retail division and store personnel. Assists in the preparation and administration of department budget. Works with Superintendent to ensure that safety, security, sanitation and pest control codes, laws, and policies are maintained. Maintains daily production and accuracy records. Maintains company policies and contractual agreements. Develops productive associates through training, coaching and disciplining when necessary, in order to achieve company goals and objectives. Develops and maintain good working relationship with all departments within supply chain. Performs other duties as assigned, to include special projects Has daily contact with co-workers, suppliers/vendors and customers 

We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

Bachelor’s Degree not required but preferred Possess strong general knowledge of all warehousing operations, with prior work experience to include lead person or supervisory duties, preferably with the Parent Company. Possess good supervisory skills and the ability to work with and through others to achieve desired results. Possess good communications skills, both oral and written.  Ability to read and interpret computerized reports. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other Office programs. Requires the analytical ability to handle administrative duties and mental alertness to ensure accurate, safe and thorough completion of work activities.  Possess ability to concentrate and deal with frequent interruptions. Work is performed under typical warehouse conditions.  Potential hazards exist with regard to machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, mechanized systems, movement of tractors and trailers, etc.  Possible exposure to common household cleaning products (i.e. cleaning materials, ammonia, bleach etc.) and also facility pest control fumes. Work environment is demanding and fast paced. Incumbent will use Scan guns, calculators, keyboards, telephones, and other office equipment in the course of the workday

The salary range is $62,700.00 to $81,540.00 annually. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. There may be flexibility for exceptional candidates. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance, sick pay (accrued based on hours worked), PTO/Vacation Pay (accrued based on hours worked)  or Flexible Time Off, paid holidays (8-9 days annually), bereavement pay, and retirement benefits (such as 401(k) eligibility).  [If applicable:] Associates in this position are also eligible for a quarterly bonus.
