**The Role at a glance:**
The Overall responsibility to effectively run and supervise the Off Premises delivery Department and the overall functions under the supervision of the Director of Warehouse/Trucking Operations. This person will be responsible for supervising and overseeing the Loading, unloading and delivery of food, beverage, and equipment to all our venues and OP events as well as troubleshooting before, during and after events. They will have the accountability for departmental accuracy to ensure that all items are packed and loaded accordingly for each event. This individual will be responsible for executing systems and tools to improve productivity and accuracy for packing, loading and unloading. They will be responsible for the overall safety of the OP Delivery operations and trucks. They must work closely with the Director of Warehouse/Trucking Operations in promoting the Company’s culture, mission and philosophy.
**Qualifications:**
- Must have a valid NYS license (or preferably have a CDL license)
- Knowledge of the Tri state area’s roads and delivery restrictions
- Must have 2-3 years experience in related industry as a supervisor / manager for a delivery/warehouse operation
- Must have excellent communication. Leadership and organizational skills.
- Must be able to work independently and be innovative.
- Must be proficient on current computer systems and Excel, Word and Outlook
- Must be able to effectively troubleshoot, multi task and have a working knowledge of vehicle repairs and maintenance
- Ability to communicate effectively with associates, management, clients and vendors when necessary
- Able to work flexible schedule in order to accommodate business levels.
**Essential Job Functions:**
1. Assist in Hiring, coaching & counseling and help with performance evaluations of staff.
2. Assist in developing, training and mentoring staff and act as a resource to them.
3. Responsible for recommending or conducting disciplinary action, of team as necessary according to HR company standards.
4. Assist in the monitoring of staffing levels to minimize cost and increase productivity. Recommend staffing needs according to business levels.
5. Assist in developing necessary training programs for associates.
6. Responsible for each truck’s loading and unloading of food, equipment, beverage and supplies.
7. Assisting with job functions of staff and drivers
8. Assisting in helping booking of drivers to events as well as communicating with them on dates booked
9. Inventory of all equipment used in the department
10. Maintain log of all vehicle maintenance and repairs
11. Maintaining vehicles and equipment in clean good condition
12. Assist in developing and implementing systems and tools for increased productivity and accuracy for packing, loading and unloading the vehicles.
13. Responsibility for executing the “Daily Responsibility Sheet”.
14. Complete all check lists and bring to them to your weekly meeting.
15. Complete weekly meeting agenda in proper form to bring to the weekly meetings.
16. Complete monthly calendar with appointment, vehicle repairs, inventories and any miscellaneous items for that month.
17. Pack, load and unload food, equipment, etc and drive to events as necessary.
18. Work with Chefs to ensure that packing of trucks are meeting company SOP’s.
19. Check in and receive “return items” at end of parties.
20. Place order for Truck Rentals, coordinate pick up and returns of trucks.
21. Attend weekly meeting with Manager to go over all necessary information for the following week.
22. Travel, as necessary, to different properties/venues.
23. Perform all reasonable requests by the Sr. Management team.
24. Attend and participate in all scheduled meetings and training sessions.
25. Follow proper time keeping policies and procedures
26. Know and follow all Abigail Kirsch emergency and safety procedures.

**Compensation Range**
$28-$30 an hour.
