Job Description

Shift: 1:30am start

Ability to work any day of the week including weekends. Split days off.

Compensation: $74,000-$84,000; based on candidate's experience + potential to earn up to 10% company bonus

Conduct rigorous recruitment and interview processes for new team membersMaintain consistent and thorough communication with the Warehouse Manager regarding potential operational challengesActively participate in mandatory annual Leadership & Development training sessionsStrategically allocate job tasks in accordance with shipping schedules to optimize efficiencyOrchestrate team member tasks and responsibilities to ensure precise receiving, storage, and loading of food products and support goods, adhering strictly to established company standards and procedures while operating within budgetary constraints and controlling costsImplement and enforce a safe work environment in full compliance with OSHA regulations, company standards, and all applicable local, state, and federal requirementsProvide comprehensive training and oversight on the utilization of handheld scanners for all warehouse functions, including picking, sorting, packing, receiving, and stockingCultivate and sustain professional customer relationships to uphold company reputation

Reporting:

Assist in the meticulous compilation of daily key performance indicatorsEnsure accurate and timely completion of all required documentation

Warehouse Inventory Planning:

Implement and maintain stringent inventory control measures through effective warehouse methodologiesCollaborate with the Manager to conduct thorough quarterly counts and/or annual physical inventories utilizing solo chain system reports inventory software to guarantee inventory accuracy

Warehouse Operations:

Conduct comprehensive reviews of load sheets and verify the accuracy of assembled loads with utmost precisionProvide necessary assistance to drivers during pre-departure load checks to ensure compliance with safety and quality standardsFormulate and present well-researched recommendations to the Manager regarding operational procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, material handling and disposition, and maintenance of current warehouse inventorySupport the Manager in maintaining constant audit and 5S readiness to ensure operational excellenceConduct regular, systematic Gemba walks to identify areas for improvement and maintain operational standardsExecute additional duties as assigned by the Manager and/or Director with diligence and professionalism

QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED, some college with equivalent work experience, 2 year degree preferred2-3 years of warehouse, manufacturing or production experience2-3 years of supervisory experienceMust have and maintain forklift certificationThorough knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory controlMust successfully pass a background check every third year on your anniversary dateSolid knowledge of OSHA regulationsSolid knowledge of Microsoft Office software

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hoursWalking in/ around the warehouse with great frequency; many facilities are over a quarter mile in lengthAble to access all areas of the building (ascending and descending ladders, stairs, and gangways safely and without limitation)Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the headLift and move totes up to 49 pounds eachMust be able to work in extreme temperatures [33-38 degrees], and in environments with exposure to loud machinery
