Our client, a global bakery, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join the team at their plant in NJ. Primary responsibilities include: + Manage raw materials, WIP, and inventory using ERP data and pull systems based on production needs. + Partner with purchasing to ensure timely, cost-effective replenishment and process compliance. + Oversee receiving, storage, and delivery of materials to production areas. + Maintain accurate inventory, control losses, and ensure efficient shipping/receiving operations. + Supervise, develop, and evaluate warehouse and receiving staff to maximize team productivity. + Perform general supervisory duties including planning, delegation, and team motivation. + Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, GMP, and OSHA regulations. + Support food safety practices through in-house training and adherence to SQF code. Position reports to Warehouse Manager Ideal candidates for Warehouse Supervisor will possess the following: + Associates degree or military veteran. + 5+ years working in a fast-paced warehouse + 2+ years experience as a lead/supervisor + Experience with forklifts and similar equipment. + Bi-lingual Spanish “a plus” Salary up to $75k/yr.
