Warehouse Storekeeper
WHAT IS THIS ROLE ABOUT?
The role is responsible for the operational function of the warehouse by managing their shift's teams in Receiving & Material Transfer. Responsible for actual stocks accuracy with SAP / MOM / other business applications in their shift activities. Ensuring the proper materials flow between warehouses and or the loading and unloading process. Closely coordinates with other warehouse, Planning & Quality being a first point of contact in any concerns. Investigates variances as well as explaining all batch management issues and shelf-life extensions with other departments involved in the process. Additionally, focuses on checking timely material transfers within warehouses in line with FIFO and FEFO for batch management scheme, materials with special instructions and monitoring on-time all material movements to ensure stock accuracy (all movement according to the plan in SAP and MOM). Help the other warehouse team and the department with improvement, ISO issues, budget planning, safety, and other issues.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Lead and direct teams of Inventory Management Forklift Drivers with regards to the daily tasks assignment Assist Shift Leads for other inventory/batch management activities. Delegate and assign tasks according to priority in preparation for the shelf-life extension of the expired materials. Quality, NTM Planning, Production Planning Coordinate with other Team regarding extension status. Checks and communicate SAP status and MUST aligned in MOM. Communicate any issues arising from the shelf-life extension. Checks the availability of extension status of in SAP for QI and coordination to the NTM & Production Planning. On-time submission of reports with special instructions and extended shelf life. Coordinate and execute any quality related issue, instructions, requirements that is related to quality External Warehouse & 3rd party service provider management Communicate material requirement and availability based on Production Order & planning request. Coordinate transfers delivery schedules based on production run schedule and priority Convey needed information with 3rd party service provider and provide feedback within the team. OPERATIONAL FUNCTIONS Pending tasks are properly handover to the next shift team Ensure that all SAP posting is correctly performed and timely executed Tasks are properly cascaded to FLD and are performed based on agreed timeline All extended shelf-life materials are properly performed and replaced the MOM label as needed. Infestation level are always checked and timely acted upon whenever necessary Urgent requirement are prioritize and support needed material on time Ensure the availability of material and is correctly reflected in system Ensure that ramp warehouse area is organized and properly set with no unaccounted items Ensure that actual materials in warehouse reflects exactly in the system (SAP/MOM) All actual material movements reflect movements in system (SAP/MOM) All material movements are properly documented Periodic material cycle count is performed regularly Materials are properly labeled and identified Preserve, retrieve records and prepare related reports. Scrutinize all deliveries and ensure that defective or incorrect items are reported, and necessary forms are prepared Perform additional tasks of MS management in order to fulfill department objectives and priorities. Ensure compliance with JTI and local CoC and CoD, policies and procedures, Safety requirements. Manage various tasks and projects as they arise and upon manager’s request. Support in other NTM process as needed.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. With hands-on experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or logistics, preferably in a manufacturing or FMCG environment is a plus. Proficient in SAP (Warehouse Management, Inventory, and Batch Management modules) and Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) systems. Knowledgeable in using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis) and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations. Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and barcode scanning technologies is highly preferred. Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze variances, investigate inventory discrepancies, and resolve batch management issues. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Willing to work on a shifting schedule. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
