Job Description:

Allied Universal® is hiring a Warehouse Specialist. The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for a wide variety of activities including shipping and receiving material, maintaining inventory and associated records as it pertains to ongoing and future projects. Warehouse Specialist will work in accordance with the organization’s office policies and procedures, keeping in mind the overall core values of Allied Universal Technology Services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Show integrity and accountability of all inventory in the warehouse; ensure that good housekeeping practices are followed at all timesExamine contents and compares with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy and condition of incoming and outgoing shipmentsCheck incoming shipments for damage and match up packing slips to purchase ordersPack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in the proper staging warehouse area while maintain efficient utilization of storage spacePull and stage project materials as requested by Project ManagerConduct monthly cycle counts and annual inventory of warehouse stock and update electronic records in ERP system; responsible for all material movement in ERP systemEnsure that inventory transactions are accurately logged, and all discrepancies and damages are investigated and reportedExamine and inspect stock items for wear or defects and reporting any damage to supervisorPerform light maintenance/facilities duties and perform other tasks as assigned by General ManagerAssist with deliveries to clientsTransfer parts to and from Project(s) and Service ticket(s) when requestedTransfer parts to and from other locations when requested for optimum profitabilityShip and receive products through Fed Ex and other carriers for timely and efficient movement of materialsAssist with Fleet ManagementControl the RMA processWorking hours: 6 AM - 2 PM, Monday - Friday

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalentMinimum of one (1) of year of experience in similar warehouse dutiesMinimum of one (1) of year of shipping and receiving experienceMinimum of one (1) of year of computer experience with Sedona, SAP or equivalentAbility to multitask and handle constantly changing work assignments with critical deadlinesAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with vendors and employeesPossess strong attention to detail, must be quick learnerProficient written and oral communication skillsBasic computer skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Driving experience to assist with deliveriesForklift experienceSAP experience

BENEFITS:

Salary range: $55,000 - $60,000 annuallyMedical, dental, vision, basic life, AD&D, and disability insuranceEnrollment in our company’s 401(k)plan, subject to eligibility requirementsEight paid holidays annually, five sick days, and four personal daysVacation time offered at an accrual rate of 3.08 hours biweekly. Unused vacation is only paid out where required by law.
