Job Description:

**This job requires forklift experience, a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and computer skills**

Duties and Responsibilities:

This position reports directly to Manufacturing and Materials Manager.In addition to forklift, this position requires driving box truck to transport product back and forth between warehouse and facility. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.Shipments – ITW picks to be set up for shipment according to priorityArrange shipments to achieve on-time delivery at best valueEnsure shipment quantities are correct and shipped according to customer requirements.Ensure shipping documentation and labeling is complete and correct.Send samples as requested by Customer Service.Receiving – Back up for Receiving/IncomingCheck for damage of incoming productEnsure actual counts are consistent with packing listEnsure ITW part number is located on outside packaging and add if necessary.Perform weight count checks on a percentage of incoming shipmentMove product to appropriate areaAll packing slips for a given day should be turned in with the receiving summary sheet from the QA database each dayInventory MovementTransfer product from locations to shipping staging area to prepare shipmentsEnsure warehouse space is used efficiently and effectivelySupervise Shipping/Receiving activitiesMaintain warehouse for neatness and accessibility according to Maintenance zone planPrepare packages for Fed Ex, UPS, etc.Assists with physical inventory as needed.Assist with special projects as needed.Ensure all safety procedures are followed at all times.

Qualifications and Skills:

High School diploma and appropriate experience (5 years or more)Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving recordAbility to read and understand instructions for database input and report output.Ability to create and maintain Excel spreadsheets.Basic personal computer knowledge.Problem solving for intermediate level situations.Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.Ability to compute rates ratios, and percentages.Operation of various office equipment such as copiers, fax machines, and adding machines.Ability to maintain an attitude of professionalism when dealing with customers, vendors, and co-workers.Forklift certified

Compensation Information:

$18.00 - $20.00/hr. Depending on Experience.
