Warehouse Project Manager
Job Description We are seeking a hands-on Warehouse Project Manager to lead the transformation of our warehouse operations. This role will directly manage two team members, providing daily direction while also spearheading the development and implementation of sustainable warehouse processes. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in warehouse environments, project leadership, and systems such as EAMS or other electronic databases. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: • Provide day-to-day leadership and task direction to two direct reports in the warehouse. • Assess current warehouse operations and identify gaps in process, organization, and efficiency. • Design and implement new warehouse procedures, including scheduling rules (e.g., designated days for equipment movement), task workflows, and cleanliness standards. • Develop and enforce systems to ensure long-term organization and operational discipline. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align warehouse processes with broader business goals. • Monitor and report on project milestones, risks, and outcomes. • Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards. • This will be on-site 4 days a week with the ability to work remote 1 day. Skills and Requirements • Proven experience in warehouse operations or a similar logistics environment. • Strong project management and leadership skills, with experience directing small teams. • Familiarity with EAMS (Enterprise Asset Management Systems) or similar electronic database tools. • Ability to design and implement operational processes from the ground up. • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
