Key Accountabilities

Principal Accountabilites:

Assure adherence to the schedule and manage all unplanned eventsImprove Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) performance by analyzing performance and suggesting/implementing process improvementsHold daily shift huddle meetings with employees in your area to coordinate coverage and assure daily/weekly goals are communicatedConduct daily audits and assure corrective action is completedAudit and complete all shift related paperworkEnsure all products meet specifications (both functionally and cosmetically)Coordinate schedules (breaks, vacations, call-ins, open positions)Complete near miss reports and all near miss follow-up actionsUnderstanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations(including food safety policies and procedures)Maintaining a safe and clean work environmentOther duties as assignedQualifications

Required Qualifications:

Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employerCargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facilityAbility to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodationBasic mechanical knowledgeAble to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)Must be able to operate machinery, industrial equipment and/or mobile equipmentAbility to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance noticeBasic computer skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous Warehouse experienceExperience driving a forkliftExperience working with Automated Storage Retrieval System (ASRS)High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience
