Reporting to the store supervisor, UGL currently have an opportunity for a Store Person / Warehouse Operator to join our rail division based in Bassendean, WA. Working with in the stores looking after parts and items for maintenance of rolling stock, wagons and locomotives.
This role will work in a team of 3 rotating on 2 shifts, 6.00am – 2.30pm (2 out of 3 weeks) and 9:00am to 5:30pm 4days (1 out of 3 weeks).
About the role
Receipting, ensure quality checking of product coming into the facility from outside vendor.Safe and productive storage of parts within the main warehouse, sub-warehouse and outside storage areas.Unloading and loading of trucks when stock arrives and being sent to outside vendors.Pick PackStocktaking and cycle countsCarry out processing on UGL inventory management systems.Ensure compliance with all record keeping requirements.About You
Forklift LF Qualifications, practical experience in operating of counterbalance and high Reach forklift, in warehouse and yard facility.Practical experience in unloading and loading of stock on to trucks of various configuration.Strong communications skills and a demonstrated ability to work independently.Proficient skills in computers: MS Word, Excel, emailSAP warehouse inventory systems experience preferred.Experienced gained in the rail, automotive, military, defense, avionics or any other safety critical environment is highly desired.What we offer
