Job Title: Warehouse Operator Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Warehouse Operator to manage the inventory and logistics of our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will ensure the efficient handling of materials and products, maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety.
Responsibilities
+ Follow all safety and environmental requirements in the performance of duties.
+ Manage inventory control for newly received components and materials, including placement in designated locations.
+ Handle material requisitions and replenish staging areas.
+ Conduct physical and system transfers of semi-finished and finished products.
+ Pull samples upon request.
+ Perform physical inventory tasks, including cycle counts and annual inventory counts.
+ Look up and reorder inventory and plant supplies.
+ Prepare and ship finished products.
+ Load and unload trailers.
+ Utilize system knowledge in Prism/AS400/SAP for material transfers and inventory adjustments.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with warehouse operations and inventory management.
+ Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Proficiency in using warehouse management systems such as Prism, AS400, or SAP.
Work Environment
This position operates on a B shift, day schedule with a 2-2-3 swing shift pattern. The role is based on-site in Clayton.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Clayton, North Carolina.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
