Your Role:
The Warehouse Operator 2 at MilliporeSigma in Sheboygan Falls, WI will route and deliver material to storage or production areas and will use material handling equipment, including narrow aisle, wire guided powered industrial trucks, confirm customer orders before they are packed to ensure the correct chemicals are shipped, and pack to ensure conformity to all applicable shipping regulations. Daily responsibilities include:
Unload trailer using power equipment, verify freight and sign bill of ladingSort, inspect, receive and put away product with scanners and appropriate systems, i.e., SAPCheck chemicals, catalog number, lot number, special request information, unit size and weights against order documentation found in packing or receiving instructionsPack the material, following established procedures and instructions while complying with hazard regulationsApply all required labels and markings to box to comply with hazardous materials regulationsAccurately select and stage product with use of power equipmentSelect and put away material using narrow aisle, wire guided machines which includes use of “operator up” machinesCommunicate and resolve discrepancies with internal customersDeliver product to onsite customers and put product into storage areasMaintain inventory accuracy and record of ordersCommunicate with Procurement and Customer Interface Departments regarding any issues and/or prioritiesPerform Audit counts and verify actual location with systemRemove and ship all defective material to vendorsThis is a 2nd shift position: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM, Mon-Fri

Basic PC skillsOperate SAP and WMS systemsRF scanner proficiency, move, crate, and audit materialUnderstand shipping regulations and can locate shipping informationSafely operate powered and manual material handling equipmentOrganizational, written and oral communication skillsTime management skills
