Warehouse Operative / Order Picker-Selector
Adecco is hiring a Warehouse Operative / Order Picker-Selector for Lancaster PA. **Schedule:** 1st Shift, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM **Pay Rate:** $17 – $20 per hour (based on experience) **Position Overview:** We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative / Order Picker-Selector to join our team. This role is responsible for accurately selecting, preparing, and staging customer orders while maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment. **Key Responsibilities:** + Receive and review orders through pick tickets or handheld devices (RF scanners, voice-picking systems). + Locate, retrieve, and verify products from warehouse shelves, racks, or storage areas. + Confirm order accuracy by checking product codes and quantities. + Transport items using manual/electric pallet jacks or forklifts to designated packing/shipping areas. + Pack, wrap, and label completed orders according to company guidelines. + Stage and load prepared orders for shipment. + Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. + Report inventory discrepancies or damaged goods to supervisors. + Assist with cycle counts and other inventory-related tasks. + Consistently meet or exceed productivity and accuracy targets. + Follow all company safety policies and procedures. **Qualifications:** + Previous warehouse or order-picking experience preferred. + Ability to operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts) a plus. + Strong attention to detail and accuracy. + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. + Must be dependable and team-oriented. **Pay Details:** $17.00 to $20.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
