DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to play a vital role coordinating our daily warehouse and distribution requirements.

\n

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

\n

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

\n

Undertake the manual handling, distribution and monitoring of materials in a bulk storage and warehouse environment.

\n

Be responsible for picking and packing specified items from storage and prepare them for shipment.

\n

\n

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

\n\nPrevious practical experience as a Warehouse Operative, within a logistics environment or similar role and be familiar with all Manual Handling Procedures \nFull RTITB (or equivalent) Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck License is ESSENTIAL for this role.\nPrevious experience of the preparation and distribution of volume orders\nExcellent organisational skills with the ability to manage your own workload\nReach truck experience preferred but but not essential\nManual Handling Equipment experience (MHE)\nBasic computer skills\n\n
