As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for:

Unloading/loading VehiclesGoods In - Visual inspection and acceptance of incoming material and packaging to ensure consignments are correct as per purchase order and quality requirementsStorage of material in accordance with material control and product preservation proceduresInventory movements ensuring system transactions are completed accuratelyOrder picking and delivery of kits to productionPicking and packaging of items for despatchCycle count inventory to ensure accurate stock statusEnsuring externally stored material is suitably covered to prevent contaminationWork with Stores Team Leader to improve operating procedures to continuously meet customer expectationsAssist in stock take process according to company procedures Comply with regulations and policies in environmental, health and safety and qualityParticipate in risk assessments and health and safety auditsDaily housekeeping of warehouse and yard area to ensure areas are clean and tidy

To be successful in this role, you should have:

Experience working in a stores environmentWell organised and capable of prioritising and multi-tasking, and working to agreed schedulesMust be computer literate, experience in the use of MRP systemsSelf-motivatedFlexible approach to the workloadAccuracy and attention to detail are essential for the roleCounter balance forklift driving license
