Warehouse & Operations Supervisor
**_Safety-Kleen_** in **_Phoenix, Arizona_** is seeking a Distribution Center Operations Supervisor to join their safety conscious team! The supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the unit, in terms of optimizing, troubleshooting and performing corrective actions with the goal of maintaining optimum production. **Pay Range: $28-$33/hr** **Why Work for Safety‑Kleen?** + Health and Safety is our #1 priority and we live it 3-6-5! + Focus on maintaining sustainability and cleaning the Earth. + Competitive pay + Comprehensive health benefits coverage after 30 days of full-time employment including 401K with Company match. + Opportunities for growth and development for all the stages of your career + Company paid training and tuition reimbursement + Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices and policies, and by consistently modeling safe behaviors. + Manage and maintain safe work practices, including adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), and best industry standards. + Manage and implement housekeeping processes to maintain an organized and safe work environment. + Organize and lead daily toolbox meetings to align the team on operational priorities. + Run weekly safety meetings to reinforce safe practices and compliance. + Leverage extensive warehouse operations experience to oversee efficient daily workflow. + Supervise, develop, coach, and cross‑train staff to build team capability and flexibility. + Explain, teach, and train in a professional, clear, and patient manner to ensure team understanding and compliance. + Leverage extensive warehouse operations experience to oversee efficient daily workflow. + Ensure verification, inspection, and proper handling and storage of all inbound and outbound products. + Initiate and oversee all inventory counts, including year‑end full physical counts and weekly cycle counts, while troubleshooting and resolving any discrepancies. + Apply mechanical knowledge to support warehouse operations and maintenance. + Clean and service machinery—such as generators, pumps, tools, and other equipment—while strictly following safety protocols. + Implement training processes for staff on proper servicing and cleaning of equipment and machinery within the distribution center. + Operate a forklift regularly; forklift experience is required. + Exhibit a positive attitude with a morale‑building mindset, fostering a collaborative and productive team culture. **What It Takes to Work for Safety-Kleen** + High school diploma or GED required. + Ability to work independently while effectively managing time and productivity. + Able to perform all physical functions required by the job. + Attention to detail. + Strong verbal and written communication skills. + Proactive approach with solid analytical and troubleshooting skills. + Demonstrates a strong drive to meet deadlines and operational goals. + Working knowledge of P&L, expense control, and revenue sources. + Knowledge of regulatory requirements including but not limited to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and RCRA (Resource Conservation and Recovery Act). + Intermediate computer skills with applications such as Microsoft Office – Excel and Outlook experience required. + Experience with technology such as RF scanners. + Mechanically inclined and able to complete general warehouse maintenance. + Forklift experience is required. + Prior experience in a warehouse environment is **mandatory** . **_Safety-Kleen_** , a Clean Harbors company, has a commitment to excellence deeply rooted in a strong sense of tradition.
