Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to play a key part in the smooth and efficient running of our warehouse operations in Napier, with a strong focus on administrative and analytical processes. You will manage critical warehouse functions including inventory accuracy, non-conformance reporting (NCR), ERP data integrity, and communication with internal teams and suppliers. This is not a forklift-heavy or purely physical role — the focus is on data analysis, process documentation, and stakeholder engagement.


The work model for the role is: #onsite.

 
This role is contributing to the Production Manufacturing team in Napier.


Main stakeholders include Warehouse Manager, Planning and Fulfilment Team, Supply Chain, Quality, and Production Teams.

You will be mainly accountable for:
• Managing and analysing stock value and inventory accuracy, including routine and ad hoc stock checks.
• Administering and maintaining complete and accurate data in SAP ERP, ensuring it reflects the physical flow of goods.
• Leading warehouse process documentation (SOPs) and overseeing updates to keep in line with actual practices.
• Managing and executing tasks related to NCRs, with a focus on problem-solving and corrective action follow-up.
• Communicating with suppliers and internal teams regarding stock issues, transport arrangements, and process changes.
• Providing guidance to warehouse operators and acting as the key contact for Kanban, replenishment, and material handling process improvements.


This position reports to the Warehouse Manager.


Qualifications for the role
• Demonstrated understanding of warehouse processes and commitment to safety and process adherence.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office and SAP ERP (or other warehouse management systems).
• Ability to lead smaller projects and take initiative in improving warehouse processes.
• High level of physical fitness and structured approach to daily task management.

• This is a highly collaborative role requiring strong communication skills, an analytical mindset, and the ability to manage priorities across multiple production lines and cost centers.
• Fluent in English with proven skills in reading, writing, and numeracy.
