The company specialises in active temperature-controlled deliveries to hospitals, pharmacies, wholesalers and medical care surgeries as well as to end patients which it serves through its homecare business. Its customers include some of the best known pharmaceutical brands in the world.** A forklift licence is desirable but not essential as full in house training will be given on this. You will be required to receive the inbound stock ensuring the temperature is compliant at all times, manage goods in , picking, labelling, packing and despatch paperwork, in addition to this you will assemble clinical packaging and labelling activities to include controlling, verifying, printing, issuing and recording labels for production. In addition to this you will ensure the maintenance of appropriate quantities of stock levels within the packaging area, undertaking stock counts and processing returns. The positions are on a Monday to Friday basis, 40 hours per week, however flexibility with regard to hours will be required as the shift times may alter dependent on volume. We offer a wide range of benefits including 28 days’ holiday (including bank holidays) building to 33 days (including bank holidays) in the sixth full holiday year (PRO RATA) and a company pension scheme For successful applicants, **Polar Speed will process a basic disclosure criminal record checks.** **Key responsibilities:** ·Unloading of client product from collection vehicles ·Ensure all consignments are received in and placed into require temperatures ·Receive in-bound consignments and allocate in warehouse ·Pallet size consignments and loading of trunking vehicles ·Goods in, picking, labelling, packing and despatch ·Processing returns including quarantined, damaged or batch recalls ·Follow standard operating procedures in the pick and pack operation. **Key Skills/Experience/Requirements:** ·Previous experience of working within a warehouse environment is essential.
