Forklift Operators and logistics associates will move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise\nCandidates only have a two hour lead time on all materials needed for the production floor and therefore, have a high level of production goals to meet each hour\n\nIdeal candidates should have a Minimum 3-year forklift experience skills or mobile equipment, the more equipment operation they have the faster they will be placed on lifts or reach trucks \nIdeal candidates have stand up forklift experience/Electric Powered Not gas\nForklift Certifications must be either verified through reference, and forklift skills Must be verified through references \n\n*Forklift roles are only 50% of the day. The other 6 hours of their shift will be walking, cleaning, material handling by hand, and any other duties as assigned. They do not have any roles that are full time equipment operators. \n\nCandidates must have used a warehouse management system; and worked in distribution

Minimum 3-years of experience in distribution with some mobile equipment experience \nStand up Reach Truck, Stand up Forklift, Stand up Rider pallet jack will all be utilized \nCandidates support 6a-6p Prepack Schedule \n\n**Every New hire will start entry level despite how many years of experience they have. They will be assigned the equipment that is open, and that will be the manual and electric pallet riders. \nThe forklifts and stand up lifts will all be in use by more tenured staff and each candidate will have to learn their warehouse, the small aisles, their inventory system and the flow of their product until they are \"promoted\" to the next piece of equipment. Their ability to move up will be contingent on their ability to learn the warehouse and the equipment that is open. Asking to move up is not allowed as that will be determined by their natural progression, learning and performance reviews. \n\n**Naturally if equipment comes open as someone has the skill set, many have already moved up quickly into reach truck roles etc. to utilize them as best as they can; however I would anticipate most will be there at least 1-3 months before being on an electric pallet jack based on their level of learning and ability to meet production demands\n\nWill generally be there a few weeks up to 6 months before they operate a forklift which are all stand up lifts\nExperience with repetitive tasks, preferably in packing product and must be able to lift 40 lbs unassisted \nUnderstand and maintain production metrics and standards

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.74 - $21.74/hr.
