Warehouse - Material Handler
**Warehouse - Material Handler** **Location:** Middletown, CT **Pay Rate:** $17–$20/hour **Schedule:** Monday–Friday | Full-Time | 1st or 2nd Shift (based on need) **Position Summary:** We’re seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to support warehouse and production operations by moving materials, components, and finished parts between departments, workstations, and storage areas. This role is critical to maintaining efficient workflow and ensuring that production teams have the right parts at the right time. **Key Responsibilities:** + Move parts, materials, and components between work areas using carts. + Assist with loading and unloading deliveries + Support inventory organization, labeling, and tracking + Keep designated areas clean, organized, and free of obstructions + Follow production schedules and instructions to prioritize part movement + Communicate with production and warehouse teams to coordinate needs + Perform basic data entry or logging of part movements as needed + Comply with all safety protocols and procedures **Skills & Qualifications:** + High school diploma or equivalent preferred + Prior warehouse, shipping/receiving, or material handling experience a plus + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods + Basic understanding of inventory processes + Strong communication and teamwork skills + Forklift experience or certification is a plus (but not required) **Work Environment:** This is a hands-on, active role in a warehouse or production setting. Safety and efficiency are top priorities.
