Salary: $72-80k/year DOE
Responsibilities:
-Ensure safety of people, product, equipment, and vehicles by complying with Company Policies, Department of Transportation (DOT), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations
-Direct warehouse operations with involvement in daily loading, lifting, shipping/receiving, quality control and accuracy
-Train, mentor, motivate and manage direct reports creating a culture of the Company Way
-Schedule and route daily deliveries considering gross vehicle weights, jobsite locations, proper vehicle selection and weather
-Confirm orders are pulled and loaded properly following Certified Material Handling (CMH) procedures
-Implement strategies for product storage and warehouse layout for efficiency in loading and to prevent product damage
-Advanced preparation for Incoming Inventory, unloading and storing per CMH procedures
-Inspect, label and safely inventory Special Order product
-Control inventory levels by conducting physical and cycle counts, communicating inventory stocking needs to purchaser
-Maintain safe, clean warehouse and vehicles
-Ensure daily vehicle inspections are completed and ELD responsibilities fulfilled
-Inspect warehouse equipment and vehicle fleet, schedule service and Annual Vehicle Inspections. Document maintenance and mileage records
-Provide knowledgeable, friendly assistance to walk-in clients creating sales orders and fulfilling orders
-Communicate and collaborate with others in Sales, Purchasing, Accounting and Operations
-Deliver client orders as necessary
-Complete Strategic Projects as needed

-Motivated and proactive with the ability to function well in a fast-paced environment
-Excellent organizational, time management and attention to detail with the ability to prioritize
