This role involves overseeing and optimizing all aspects of warehouse operations for this site, which is part of the division within Emerson that manufactures Gas Analysis products (Gas Chromatographs, Process Gas Analyzers, Laser Analyzers), for customers across the world and across several different industries (Chemical, Refining, Power, Food & Beverage, Aerosol, Life Science). If you are prepared to achieve great results with us, to drive continuous improvement across the warehouse processes and help us set an efficient strategy to guide and develop our team, we welcome you to join us! **In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** + **Strategic Planning:** Develop and implement warehouse operations plans aligned with manufacturing and supply chain objectives. + **Safety and Security:** Ensure workplace health, safety, and security standards are met. + **Team Management:** Oversee and develop the warehouse team, managing their performance and personal development. + **Operational Coordination:** Coordinate the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods using systems like Sage/JDE and Oracle, ensuring accuracy and timely processing. + **Objective** **Setting** : Set and review department objectives and KPIs. + **Collaboration:** Work closely with production planning, procurement, quality, customer care, and logistics to optimize material flow and minimize downtime. + **Inventory Management:** Maintain accurate stock levels and conduct periodic stock takes. + **Continuous Improvement:** Lead initiatives for operational efficiency, including lean manufacturing and waste reduction. + **Compliance:** Ensure adherence to trade compliance rules and maintain quality management systems. + **Reporting and Monitoring** : Provide regular reports and actionable insights to senior management, monitor KPIs, and manage budgetary and service level agreements.. + **Relationship Management** : Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to enhance performance and drive continuous improvement. **Who You Are:** You break down objectives into appropriate initiatives and actions for yourself and the team you lead. ou seek ways to improve processes, from small tweaks to complete rethinking.
