Adecco is currently assisting one of our clients in San Fernando Valley with a Warehouse Manager role for an engineering manufacturing company.
The Warehouse Manager will oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including inventory management, logistics coordination, and team leadership. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in setting up warehouse systems from scratch and maintaining seamless support for an adjacent Assembly production floor. Responsibilities:
+ Design and implement warehouse processes from the ground up, including layout optimization, storage solutions, and workflow procedures for a project-based environment with constantly rotating inventory
+ Coordinate picking and kitting operations to ensure timely delivery of components to the Assembly production floor, maintaining line readiness and minimizing downtime
+ Manage inventory rotation for short-term project cycles, ensuring accurate tracking and real-time adjustments to meet dynamic production demands
+ Supervise manual warehouse operations in a non-automated environment, emphasizing precision in material handling and organization
+ Collaborate with Assembly teams to forecast part requirements, prioritize kitting schedules, and resolve supply chain bottlenecks
+ Develop project-specific inventory protocols for unique components, ensuring traceability and efficient reuse across multiple installations
+ Implement safety and compliance measures tailored to high-turnover inventory and manual handling processes

Requirements:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred
+ 10+ years of warehouse operations experience, including proven success in setting up a warehouse from an empty space and establishing operational procedures
+ Expertise in manual inventory management for project-based environments, with experience in rapid inventory turnover and just-in-time fulfillment
+ Strong organizational skills to design logical storage systems for diverse components, ensuring quick access for Assembly teams
+ Experience supporting production floors, including kitting workflows, line-side inventory staging, and defect resolution processes
+ Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs. and operate manual equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) in a non-automated environment
Schedule Needed:
Monday through Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm with some overtime including weekends.

**Pay Details:** $35.00 to $38.00 per hour
