Warehouse Manager

C.H. Robinson is looking for a Warehouse Manager to join our Global Forwarding division in Barcelona.
In this role, you will ensure operational excellence across receiving, shipping, inventory, and production, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and collaboration.
The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, analytical insight, and a passion for developing high-performing teams in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:
+ Ensure receiving, shipping, inventory and production crews operate in an efficient, productive, accurate, and professional manner
+ Ensure all customer service metrics are consistently met or exceeded
+ Operate in an efficient/cost conscious manner so that all budgeted objectives are achieved
+ Communicate clearly and concisely with all audiences; keep others informed and listens carefully to input and feedback
+ Ensure safe and efficient use and maintenance of facility equipment
+ Monitor supplies, packaging, and raw materials needed to operate business on daily basis
+ Identify areas for improvement, make recommendations, and implement approved changes, including using metrics to identify areas for improvement
**Leadership:**
+ Ensure distribution center crews operate in an efficient, productive, accurate and professional manner; ensures work schedules promote efficiency
+ Maintain proper staffing levels, staff schedules, oversee hourly staff training; Plan needs based on projected projects and volume; Deliver timely performance feedback and corrective suggestions/actions to both staff and customer account teams
+ Maintain a constant presence in the work area to support and lead warehouse staff; Provide a safe work environment for all areas of operations; develop and maintain a positive and collaborative work environment
+ Ensure integrity and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information
+ Participate in the recruitment, selection, promotion, and alignment of qualified and diverse talent
+ Support the annual merit and equity programs for assigned team to align compensation with performance results
+ Outline employee role accountabilities and expectations; manage performance to drive the right behaviors and improve results and provides useful real-time coaching, feedback, and mentoring, development activities and stretch assignments; supports employees with problem resolution
+ Encourage employee feedback through formal and informal channels. Acknowledge and take action on feedback to drive a trusting culture of open two-way communication, inclusivity and continuous improvement.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
Required:
+ Minimum 5 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center
+ Minimum 2 years of experience leading and managing teams
+ Knowledge of efficient and safe warehousing practices
+ Proficient computer skills
+ Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish

+ Ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization
+ Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
+ Ability to motivate and inspire high performing teams
+ Proven history of delivering detail oriented, accurate and organized results under pressure
+ Demonstrates the desire and capacity to operate in an entrepreneurial, multi-task environment
+ Bilingual in Spanish and English
