The Warehouse Manager plans, organizes, and monitors the receiving, storage, and distribution of all products received either from suppliers or production shop to meet internal and external customer requirements effectively and efficiently.
How you will impact Smurfit Westrock: Closely monitor the compliance with all safety policies and operation of equipment.Research, recommend, and implement appropriate equipment to ensure safe transport and storage of all products.Lead all phases of employment including interviewing, selecting, training, monitoring, disciplining, and terminating warehouse staff.Maintain quality processes and measures to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.Oversee the completion of all required paperwork and data entry by the warehouse team.Coordinate scheduling and routes with drivers.Fulfill customer orders as needed, including all material handling.Work closely with accounting to resolve problems with invoices and billing.Ensure materials are stored properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures.Oversees the rotation of inventories within the warehouse.Monitor and measure warehouse performance and quality metrics.Provide reporting to management as required.Conduct routine maintenance on all material handling equipment.Adjust staffing levels to meet peak customer demand.Operate Forklift as neededAttend and participate in Victory leadership meetings, as required.Other duties as assigned.What you need to succeed: Two or more-year(s) experience as Warehouse SupervisorGeneral fluency in English required, verbal and written.Bilingual in Spanish a plusBasic computer literacy required, prefer knowledge of MS Office.What we offer:Corporate culture based on integrity, respect, accountability, and excellence.Comprehensive training with numerous learning and development opportunities.An attractive salary reflecting skills, competencies, and potential.Benefits package to include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k with match, tuition reimbursement, employee discounts, employee referral bonus, and much more!A career with a global packaging company where Sustainability, Safety and Inclusion are business drivers and foundational elements of the daily work.#Victory
